Research on Diagrams in Greek mathematical Texts

On this web page, the latest version of the report is available which contains diagrams of Euclid's Phaenomena, some books of the Elements, and Optics, reproduced from manuscripts.

DRaFT distribution

DRaFT is a software for reproducing diagrams from image files. developed and used in this project. For its concise description, see De Young's paper in the report.

Download DRaFT for Mac X.3 and later
Put the downloaded file in your home directory, and open terminal, and type
tar xvf draft.tar [ENTER]
Then, read manual files.

Download DRaFT for Windows
Put the downloaded file in C:\, and extend it in C:\ (not in C:\draft\). Thenk, read manual files.
